Product Description Now you can watch blazing-fast action with virtually no motion blur in crystal clear detail. All of your favorite sports, action movies and video games in crystal clear, Full HD 1080p. It's still an HDTV, but you might decide it's something better.

Better audio than my Samsung. February 5, 2010 Thomas D. Connolly (Syosset,Ny) LG 42LH55 42-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV, Gloss Black. All aspects and setups of this tv were sraight forward and simple. The picture quality and performance is just as crystal as my much more expensive 55 inch six month old Samsung. But the audio output is far superior which i found surprising as i beleived all flat screens speaker systems were barely adequate.
looks almost too good February 1, 2010 Matthew Nail (west sacramento, CA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you play video games or watch sports this is a great tv. The only complainant I have is it only has one type of audio output (optical). Didn't give me a problem because my surround reciever has an optical input. Just had to go buy a cable (about 20 bucks)
hdmi connection January 6, 2010 John Pinnero (Ocean City ,Md) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Purchased this tv on Dec.14 2009,based on favorable reviews.Easy to set up,disappointed with picture quality compared to our samsung 46 inch hdtv.
Major problem with this tv, After many hours ,talking to lg support and with comcast cable people who came to my home,I cannot get any signal when I connect the hdmi. lg will not replace the tv. Terrible situation after spending that much money.

Audio Sync Issue December 7, 2009 Chris Ellis (Orlando, Fl.) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is the first time I have ordered something this big and cost on the Internet. I must say it was great. Amazon was great and the delivery company was excellent. TV - Only issue is the audio sync. I have called LG (India??) who have said a tech will call me. When I asked when - I was advised my issue would in put in the queue. I really do like the TV but if they cannot resolve the audio issue, it's going back. Various blogs also report this issue but no one can advise me how to resolve it. I'll have to wait for LG.
This is ridiculous November 30, 2009 Marcus Welby (West Chester, PA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I started watching television in 1960, and this thing just blows me away. I'm almost sorry I didn't go for a larger screen, but it already intrudes into local reality. This thing looks so good it's spooky.
