Thanks for the prior reviews October 20, 2008 S. Menkhaus (Northern Kentucky) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this product after reading the prior reviews. We bought this for a large bedroom and it is a great match for the room, great picture and excellent sound quality. This arrived two days after ordering via UPS even with the savings shipping. I would buy again.
Very pleased, and room for improvement October 10, 2008 obama voter (NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This TV has exceeded expectations. Having read many previous reviews criticizing the sound quality and/or volume, I was apprehensive but finally decided to try it out. So glad I did! It's only been hooked up for a few hours, but I'm thoroughly pleased (and I'm watching/listening from nearly 20' away! And the volume isn't even 1/4 of capacity. (As far as being 20' away, that's *not* my usual TV-watching distance, but right now I'm in the dining room and looking into the living room where the TV is positioned to face me, and I'm impressed.) There are a couple of things I'd tweak on the remote, including adding backlighting, but really this is not a complaint.
great t.v July 31, 2008 Daniel Zeitler (Mendocino, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
t.v works great. lots of plug ins for audio and video, hmdi input and laptop input are a plus. pros- 720p 3,000-1 constrast/dynamic contrast ratio vivid color and sharpness built like a samsung cons- built in speakers kind of suck but come on get surround sound! kind of pricey for a 22 inch but after using it for this long i cant really complain.
Great Value July 27, 2008 Dave in Connecticut (Danbury, CT United States) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I gave it 4 stars only because something has to be absolutely spectacular for me to give it 5 stars. Pretty much anything good that has been said about the set is true. I do have to take exception with the comments that it takes a long time to turn on. I took a stopwatch to it with the following results. From the time I pressed the power button it took 2.5 seconds for the "welcome tune" and about 9 seconds to deliver a picture. I expect that most people can live with that. I have two Sony Bravia sets that take about the same amount of time to start up. Overall, it's a very good set and a solid value.
decent TV July 8, 2008 Mei Ling (Brooklyn, NY) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
no complaints except that the volume on this TV can be a little too low.
