Product Description High Bandwidth IEEE 1394 Digital Interconnect Delivers Improved AV Performance and Superior Data TransferMonster's High Bandwidth, IEEE 1394/FireWire Cable Delivers Improved Overall Performance for all your FireWire A/V ComponentsNot all Digital Cables are Created EqualUndoubtedly, the digital video and audio format blows away most other options when it comes to ease of connection, enhanced interoperability, and improved audio/video performance over ordinary analog cables.IEEE 1394 FireWire digital cables are subject to many of the same problems that plague the analog realm, but are masked by the decoding process that is inherent to the digital domain. Digital artifacting, pixelization or choppy colored blocks can degrade video quality. Audio can suffer from diminished soundstage or a lack of natural smooth sonic reproduction, often referred to generically as harshness.Monster's FireLink 300: The Improved Performance Digital A/V Connectioni

| Customer Reviews:
no better cable for firewire - guaranteed June 28, 2006 Bob (Petoskey, MI) I use firewire for video recording with the new panasonic hvx200 and the focus firestore fs-100 hard drive. I had trouble with the use of no name or manufacture supplied firewire cables with the loss of connection. I decided to give the monster cable a shot and the results were fantastic. I could bend the cable near the connection points and not lose signal as per before. I hear of many people having transfer problems with firewire drives, digital video and cameras. I'm sure it's cable related. Just try bending and see what happens. From now on it's monster cable for me for all my firewire connections.
