    I don't know if I've recently had a worse experience with a company than I've had tonight with LG. in December, I purchased this DV898 video player. I've probably used it no more than about 25 times. This evening, I put a DVD in the player, it played just fine, I took it out and the cartridge that holds the DVD wouldn't close. It goes in about 1 inch and then just catches. No matter what I try, without breaking anything, it still won't go back in.
    So I called the number on the DVD player and website to see if I can get some help. I waited just over 16 minutes to finally talk to someone.
    After discussing the situation with her, she told me sorry but I'd have to send it in, pay $45, and someone would fix it for me. It only cost me $79 in the first place.
    This item is too new to be breaking down. But even worse, this whole thing hardly reflects their mission statement on their home page.
    I know, they're a big company and I'm a small guy, so too bad, huh. I'll be sure to dissuade everyone from buying from LG.
