Amazon.com Product Description Your widescreen HDTV experience is only a fraction of what epitomizes the home-theater experience. Panasonic's SC-PT750 Home Theater System delivers that 5.1 channel surround sound you've been hearing so much about. It also adds a 5-Disc DVD and CD changer. Got an iPod player? There's a dock for that too! The wireless rear speakers let you place them wherever you like without the clutter of cables. You can also expand your music listening into three additional rooms with the optional SH-FX85 wireless multi-room speaker kit. To give you the astonishingly high image quality of today's HD technology, the 1080p upconversion function converts standard definition images from DVDs to high definition. That means you'll get the most out of your HDMI compatible HDTV. And unlike ordinary video up-converters that produce images with thicker edges and decreased sharpness, the HD Enhancer keeps edges crisp and clear for outstanding detail. Enhance your home theater system with the incredible combination of Panasonic sound technology and 1000 watts of power. Super Surround puts you in the action with lifelike sound from every angle, and a Four-Step Subwoofer Level Control puts you in command with rich sound effects you can hear and feel.
Product Description digital video upconversion for DVD playback * selectable 480i/480p/720p/1080i/1080p output via HDMI digital interface (separate adapter available for TVs with DVI input) * built-in Dolby Digital, DTS, & Pro Logic II processing, for surround sound from DVD, VHS, and stereo sources * 6-channel amplifier (63 watts x 2 for the front speakers, 113 watts for the center channel, 34 watts x 2 for the surround speakers, and 121 watts for subwoofer) * 1 front-panel minijack audio input for connecting an iPod or MP3 player *

Great system June 16, 2008 Brandon (North Dakota) This system sounds great, the wireless rear speakers can be a problem thou. they don't have alot of power to them and as it lists it can and will knock out wifi internet, they they are really nice to have. the main system has great sound the the sub woofer can shake a room. IPOD adapter makes it even better.
Excelent with a very good price June 9, 2008 Gilberto Velarde (Caracas, Venezuela) I did a search for over 20 home theater systems and this on fitted very good my needs and my pocket. It's a middle price system but with a supperior quality. Very easy to set up, very nice looking. The wireless back spekers are very nice. Odd. huge box and heavy which makes the shipping expensive.
Just right May 13, 2008 J. Young (Alaska) This is not a high end audio system but it is just what I was looking for. The price was right and the shipping went fine. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to purchase a suitable surround sound system.

The wireless rear speakers are not wireless. If your room is over 20 feet wide, there is no way you can have the speakers on each side of the room. Even if you did, the wires connecting the two speakers to the remote box would still have to be hidden. Wireless rear speakers is an oxymoron. You have rear speakers connected to a remote box by wires.
Not enough Bass March 29, 2008 Melbert Ian Ramos (USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Front speakers are great, but the sub and rear speakers are Bad. I have to buy a new sub and replace the old one to appreciate the bass of music. The "wireless" rear speakers are not REALLY wireless and it sound terrible. so if your looking for sound and doesn't need a upconvert dvd player don't buy this.
